Helping you make breastfeeding easy, simple and enjoyable for you and your baby.
Hi my name is Kerrie
You deserve calm, confident and supported breastfeeding
Breastfeeding can be deeply bonding and profoundly beautiful — but for many women it can also feel overwhelming, painful, or far more challenging than expected. If you’re facing hurdles, feeling unsure, or simply wanting to prepare well, you don’t have to do this alone.
I’m here to support you — to help you understand what’s happening, resolve the root of the issue, and feel confident in your own body and your relationship with your baby.
A whole-woman, whole-baby approach
When we work together, the focus is not just on feeding — it’s on you, your baby, and your relationship together. Breastfeeding doesn’t exist in isolation; it’s shaped by your physical recovery, emotional wellbeing, past experiences, and the unique needs of your baby and family.
I take a gentle, non-interventional, hands-off approach, guiding you to understand what’s happening and empowering you with information so you can make informed choices that feel right for you. This is a collaborative, discovery-based process — we work things out together.
My care is holistic and evidence-informed. Where appropriate, I support breastfeeding using natural and gentle remedies, nourishment, and lifestyle support — and when medical treatment is needed, I confidently integrate Western medicine to ensure your safety and wellbeing. Both approaches can work together in service of you and your baby.
Why this work matters so deeply
The mother–baby relationship is foundational. Its closeness and connection shape not only your early motherhood experience, but also the emotional landscape of your child’s life. Breastfeeding is one powerful part of this bond — and like any relationship, it sometimes needs nurturing, patience, and skilled support.
I believe breastfeeding challenges are rarely just about technique. By looking beyond symptoms and addressing the underlying causes, we can create solutions that support the longevity of your breastfeeding journey, not just quick fixes.
Experience you can trust — care that feels human
I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Midwife with over 20 years’ experience supporting women through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period. My background includes antenatal care, continuity of care (MGP Lead Midwife), postnatal support, and working in high-risk antenatal care.
But just as importantly, I understand breastfeeding challenges on a personal level. I’ve navigated my own breastfeeding journeys with my own two boys, with tongue and lip ties, colic symptoms, mastitis, damaged nipples, and the emotional toll of desperately wanting to breastfeed while struggling to do so. These experiences deeply inform the way I support women — with compassion, realism, and respect.
Support that meets you where you are
I work with women both prenatally — to prepare and feel confident before baby arrives — and postnatally, at any point in the feeding journey.
You are at the centre of this work. Caring for you — physically, emotionally and relationally — is essential to how breastfeeding unfolds. Together, we’ll create a plan that supports not only feeding, but your transition into motherhood.
I can support you with:
Prenatal breastfeeding preparation (first baby or subsequent babies)
Latch, attachment and positioning support
Painful feeds, damaged or cracked nipples
Mastitis and recurrent breast inflammation
Low milk supply or oversupply / forceful let-down
Reflux, unsettled babies and “colic”
Tongue and lip tie assessment and management
Low weight gain
Insufficient glandular tissue
Expressing and returning to work plans
Breastfeeding trauma debrief and healing sessions
(including EFT and hypnosis to support emotional repair and future feeding experiences)Natural Remedies as well as Western medicine
You don’t have to push through alone
If breastfeeding feels harder than it should — or you simply want skilled, nurturing support — I would love to walk alongside you.
Get in touch when you’re ready.

"Breastfeeding is an unsentimental metaphor for how love works. In a way. You don’t decide how much and how deeply to love, you respond to the beloved, and give with joy exactly as much as they want"
